Announcements:

• There will be a Council meeting immediately following the morning service today.  All are welcome and encouraged to participate.  Let's keep the great discussions begun at the Business meeting going!

• The men will meet for Prayer Breakfast on August 22nd at 7AM at Sid's.  Another opportunity to fellowship with your brothers and invite others to join you.

• The Lord's Supper will be served on August 23rd during the morning service.

• There will be a Deacons' meeting at 6:30 pm in Pastor's Office on August 24th.

• The Church Council is currently gathering information regarding our existing church sign which is in need of replacement. This will be an important topic of discussion at the Council meeting today so come and make your desires known.  We ask that you join us in prayer as we seek wisdom and discernment in this matter.

• On Sunday, September 13th beginning at 5 pm, we will have a fun time of fellowship at Pioneer Park.  We are calling it Hang Out in the Park.  Mark your calendars now to attend, bring food and games if you'd like (cornhole has been mentioned) and let's show Winnemucca that the family at Sonoma Baptist Church are a fun bunch to hang out with.

• This year marks Sonoma Baptist Church’s 20th anniversary.  Please contact Sean or Tina Burke if you have memorabilia or contact information for founding or former members to contribute or would like to assist with planning and/or execution of the event.  The celebration will be October 11th in conjunction with Pastor Appreciation.  Stay tuned for more information as it develops.
